About forty miles east of Stuttgart, Germany, a welcoming town called Aalen can be found. Whilst it is rather sleepy and slow-moving, Aalen is an undeniably beautiful place, especially in the autumn with its trees of brilliant reds, yellows, and oranges. The outdoor air is so fresh, cold, and crisp. It is surreal to set foot in a town with such clean, unpolluted air. Its lazy cobbled streets and colourful sixteenth century half-timbered houses provide the town centre with a certain quaintness and tranquillity. This traditional German architecture is charming, sweet, and fairytale-esque in many ways. Aalen is host to one of Germany’s greatest annual jazz festivals, and its stage has been graced by some of history’s finest. Though not much appears to happen in this endearing town’s day-to-day life, Aalen is magnificently captivating.
Ashton's words: "Captivating is one of many adjectives I could use to describe James Romaine on this track. When I was writing this, I knew it was for James and no one else. He sounds ridiculously good."
